Club L Team Our Team's 2026 Style Resolutions
The New Year offers the perfect opportunity to step into a fresh era—level up your wardrobe and push the boundaries of your style. It also invites reflection and planning to ensure you not only look good in 2026 but feel good too. We may be biased, but our team of creatives and designers know style, so we asked them to share the style resolutions they’ll be embracing this year.
“I want to elevate my dresses for date night and make it an occasion.”
Ashley Leek, Garment Tech Manager
Day to Night Transition
Transitioning your work wardrobe into date-night mode is a common challenge, especially in winter, when finding pieces that offer both warmth and drama can feel tricky. Tailored pieces are the perfect solution, their premium crepe keeps you insulated, while a structured silhouette brings instant polish to any look.
“I want to try new things with my style and see if something surprises me. I’m very set in my ways style wise, so want to branch out and try pieces that I wouldn’t usually wear”
Ellie Ford, Group Creative Manager
Try New Things
The New Year carries a sense of reinvention, making it the perfect time to experiment with styles, cuts and pieces you might normally avoid. If a complete wardrobe overhaul feels daunting, start small. For example, if your style leans minimalist and monochrome, try a burgundy or forest-green jersey maxi dress, or a pinstripe jumpsuit, to introduce subtle flair.
“I want to invest in more tailored pieces, to make my style feel more effortlessly polished.”
Sinead Clarke, Senior Brand Copywriter
Invest in Tailoring
Many of us crave a more polished look, yet gravitate towards oversized sweaters and leggings during colder months. Elevating your everyday wardrobe is easier than it seems. Pair a relaxed T-shirt and jeans with a sharp blazer, or mix and match tailored pieces, such as a vest with jeans or tailored trousers with a sweater, for an effortlessly chic effect.
“I want to get more use out of the same outfit, so I can wear it on different occasions, so I'm going to get creative with my styling when putting looks together - to take me from desk to dancefloor!”
Amy Fisher, Head of Design
Create My Uniform
Creating a uniform for yourself is going to be a huge trend in 2026, drawing inspiration from 1980s power dressing, which blends authority with glamour for elegant day-to-night looks. To rediscover the joy of dressing up, experiment with pieces usually reserved for special occasions. Style a structured burgundy mini or a showstopping set with gold detailing for date night or an office cocktail hour and make it your own.
“I’m entering 2026 with the resolution of shopping intentionally, re-wearing the pieces I love most and only buying pieces that are good quality and will last.”
Olivia Blevins, Social Media Manager
Shop Intentionally
This year is about making your wardrobe work harder, repurposing what you already own and curating a considered collection of pieces. By focusing on capsule wardrobes and investing in clothing that lasts beyond a single event, you begin to define your true style. Consider the fabrics that feel comfortable, the silhouettes you love, and the pieces that are genuinely versatile. Our favourite example? Premium jersey maxi dresses. They can be dressed up or down, endure the seasons, and remain breathable all year round.
