HIGH LIFE

LOOK ONE

SELENA GOMEZ

Stealing the spotlight with an effortlessly elegant look from Ralph Lauren was Selena Gomez as she stunned in a blend of classic sophistication on the carpet. Boasting all the modern allure the fashion house has to offer, the floor-sweeping gown was made of over 16,000 glass droplets and intricately hand-sewn Rosemont crystals, formed in a lattice design, airbrushed with a pink ombré finish that shimmered under the flashes of cameras. Inspired by Sophia Loren, the look was no stranger to old Hollywood glamour and stunned us all with its chic retro flair.

MCKENNA

LOOK TWO

MIKEY MADISON

Channelling a perfect balance of ethereal and edge was Mikey Madison in her Dior ensemble –  a recreation of a dress originally designed by Christian Dior himself back in spring/summer 1956. The Bal à Paris gown was previously designed in a white organdy satin and black velvet combination, which has been reimagined into this trending powder pink double face silk satin version with a sculpting bustier under the guidance of current creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri. We’re all here for the dramatic evening looks this season at Club L, hence why this luxe ballgown has made its way onto our IT list. This was undoubtedly one of the most unforgettable looks of the night.

AMOURA

LOOK THREE

RAYE

With a regal rock-chic twist, Raye graced the Oscars’ carpet wearing a fiery red Vivienne Westwood gown, following this year’s trending theme of old Hollywood glamour. Oozing a rebellious sense of sophistication, her look boasted a structured corseted bodice, dramatic cowl neckline and elegant drapery that hung off her curves with ease. Paired with a diamond ruby teardrop necklace and glimmering bracelet, she really brought the red to the red carpet, complementing the night seamlessly.

POLARIS

LOOK FOUR

DEMI MOORE

Going down as potentially her best look yet, The Substance star Demi Moore arrived on the scene wearing a stunning Armani Privé gown that was nothing short of spectacular. The custom-creation was bold and memorable, keeping it classy with a sweeping silver look, intricately beaded floral shapes and a sculptural silhouette transformation from the waist. With a bold plunge neckline that showcased an edge of femininity, there’s no surprise as to why this had to make our round up.

ORCHID OASIS

LOOK FIVE

ARIANA GRANDE

The drama arrived at the occasion the minute Ariana Grande rocked up. Following on from her Wicked role, she remained true to her fairy character and wore a blush pink ballgown from Schiaparelli, capturing the allure of haute couture. With a lace up satin corset that spilled out layers of sparkling tulle, like a spell from a wand, there’s no denying that this was a work of art and it’s clear to see why she became one of the most talked-about stars of the show. Styled with a radiant makeup look and slick back bun, the look was giving ballerina-core at its finest before slipping into her deep crimson number for an on-stage performance. Well done Miss Grande.

As always, the Oscars 2025 was an absolute masterclass of red carpet attire and without a doubt proved the power of personal style at its peak. From cementing their status as the industry’s best dressed women of the year, we can’t wait to see what follows in trends from this legendary evening.
