Trends Our Fashion Trend Predictions 2026

Trend forecasting is imperative in the fashion industry, so it’s about time we stopped gatekeeping it. As the new year approaches, our team has been discussing the trends set to sweep both the runway and the high street in 2026, and, more importantly, how to make them work for your everyday wardrobe. So, keep reading to discover what the industry has in store for fashion in the near future.

Florals Are Back

Truth be told, florals never really went away. However, they’re set for a major resurgence in the new year, extending well beyond the traditional spring and summer months. Expect oversized floral prints and unexpected colour combinations to take centre stage. When it comes to styling, florals for colder months will become a staple. Pair cool-toned floral dresses with chunky knitwear and textured outerwear to give the feminine print a relaxed, undone edge.

The Daily Dress

As consumers continue to shift towards slower, more mindful consumption, trends are emerging to support this change. One of the biggest is the return of the capsule wardrobe, encouraging investment in versatile, multi-use pieces. As a result, dresses in classic silhouettes and neutral tones are set to be everywhere. Keep an eye out for modern updates to the little black dress, tailored pinstriped minis, navy midis perfect for the office, and timeless burgundy maxis.

High Society

Over the past six months, social media has driven the rise of ‘librarian chic,’ and ‘high society’ dressing is emerging as its natural evolution. But what does this look like in practice? Think suiting-inspired staples, gold hardware and clean, minimalist silhouettes. In the 1990s, Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy epitomised this aesthetic, championing a look defined by quiet luxury and impeccable polish. To channel the trend today, opt for timeless silhouettes crafted from premium fabrics such as matte jersey and crepe, materials that are understated and flattering.

Brooched Up

Brooches dominated 2025, and this momentum shows no sign of slowing as we move into the new year. The trend strikes the perfect balance between polished and unapologetically glamorous. While you can certainly add brooches to pieces you already own, we recommend opting for dresses that come pre-embellished. Hand-embellished mini dresses or sequin maxis offer the same sparkle without the guesswork.
