Behind The Scenes The Making of The Invitation
Made for days that linger long after they end, the kind that live on in photographs and in places built to hold memories. Shot at Villa Arconati, step inside the setting that inspired our latest collection, The Invitation. Our team spent a day in early January capturing the collection, returning to Club L HQ with inspiration that felt infectious from the moment they arrived back.
The Villa
Affectionately called the “Versailles of Milan”, the villa is a Baroque masterpiece that once housed early manuscripts by Leonardo da Vinci, located in northern Italy. A place of culture, creativity and naturally unforgettable gatherings. Situated on the outskirts of Milan, it is clear the fashion capital has left its mark on the villa, with ornate finishes and intricate masterpieces evident throughout. Our team were in awe, every corner and crevice revealing even more history than imagined.
The Artistry
An artist live painting the walls of the villa during the shoot perfectly captured the artistry and craftsmanship felt from the moment you step onto the grounds. This dedication to detail mirrors the same commitment to quality that defines the creation of The Invitation. As you would expect, the main villa is surrounded by grounds that are pristinely cut and pruned into intricate shapes, demonstrating that small details make all the difference when it comes to artistry.
The Collection
Blending craftsmanship with modern romance, this is an invitation to connect and celebrate, much like Villa Arconati itself, a space designed for people to come together. Playing with movement, drama and embellishment, the pieces featured in The Invitation are full of ornate detailing and architectural shapes, reminiscent of the villa and the history of care and craft it holds.
